Your whole nursery, in one system.

Registers, rotas, parent messages, photos and fees, for the office, the room iPad and every parent’s phone.

  • Data stored in the EU
  • Fees paid into your own account
  • Works without wifi

One system instead of five.

The paper register, the fee spreadsheet, the parents’ group chat, the photo folder and the rota on the wall. Kinderlee brings them into one place, with one record for each child.

What Kinderlee does

Attendance and pickup

Teachers mark each child in and out.

Attendance is recorded on the room iPad, and the register fills itself. At pickup, the iPad shows who may collect each child, and no one else.

  • Recorded by the teacher in the room
  • A live register for every room
  • Pickup by authorised adults only

The parent app

Parents see their own child’s day.

Meals, naps, notes and photos from the day, and messages in each parent’s own language. Each parent has their own login, and photos appear only with their consent.

  • Daily log and photos
  • Messages, translated
  • A separate login for each parent

The office

The whole nursery on one screen.

Who’s in, what’s owed and whether every room is in ratio. When a room falls short, the screen shows it at once.

  • Occupancy and revenue at a glance
  • A rota checked against the ratio
  • Waiting list to signed contract

The assistant

Ask your own policies.

It answers from the nursery’s own documents and shows where each answer came from. It drafts messages and reports, and a person checks every field before anything is sent.

  • Answers with their source
  • Drafts messages and reports
  • Runs in the EU

Offline

Keeps working without wifi.

Everything recorded on the room iPad is saved on the iPad first, and sent with its original time when the connection returns.

  • Nothing lost when the signal drops
  • Each entry sent once
  • Each entry keeps its own time

Learning record

Staff write the learning record.

Lesson plans, staff-written observations and each child’s portfolio stay together. A colleague checks the progress report against the observations before the head signs it.

  • Observations written by staff
  • A portfolio for each child
  • Checker and signer recorded

Kitchen and allergies

Recorded allergies, beside the dish.

Menus are set for each age group. The allergies recorded for children eating today show on the dish, and the cook confirms an alternative.

  • Menus, suppliers and orders
  • Only today’s allergy flags in the kitchen
  • Unknown and cross-contact states shown

Incidents

An incident recorded. A parent informed.

Staff record an incident on the room iPad. The parent gets a notification, opens the report and taps “I have read this”. Opening and acknowledging are recorded separately.

  • Recorded in the room
  • The parent notified
  • Opened and acknowledged are distinct

Payments

Fees go straight to your account.

Parents pay by direct debit or card, in the app. The money lands in the nursery’s own account. Kinderlee never holds it.

How payments work

One fee, three payers. Each pays their own part and gets their own bill.

And the rest of the day

Enquiries

An enquiry becomes a place.

An enquiry becomes a waiting-list place, then an enrolment, with one record throughout.

Leave and documents

Leave requests and expiry dates.

Leave requests and document expiry, with status and dates recorded.

Holiday programmes

Booked in the app, on the invoice.

Parents book in the app. Each booking adds one invoice line; a cancellation produces a credit note.

Maintenance

Every repair has a history.

Room supply requests and maintenance tickets stay inside the nursery, with a history of each status change.

Involvement

Parents sign up for activities.

Parents sign up for activities in their own child’s nursery and room.

Calendar and letters

Letters home and the school year.

A resource library, school-year calendar and theme letters home.

Delegation

Hand an approval to a colleague.

One person can hold two roles and hand an approval to a named colleague, with an end date and the option to revoke it.

The moments that shape a childhood are often the ones nobody thinks to record: a brave first hello, paint-stained hands, the day a quiet child joins the game.

Children building a tower of wooden blocks with a teacher in a bright playroom.

Kept in Europe. Sealed per nursery.

Built for the Netherlands first. Germany, Spain and France next.

Watch the film (MP4)
What the film shows

The film has music and no voice. It opens on a director’s list for the day, from the morning register to preparing for an inspection. The morning dashboard follows, then an enquiry that becomes a place on the waiting list and then an enrolment, and one message sent to every family, translated for each. A teacher writes an observation, it is filed to the child’s portfolio, and the progress report is checked by a colleague and signed. Invoices go out and direct debits come in. The compliance checklist runs, with staff documents and their expiry dates. The assistant drafts one message, and a member of staff confirms each field against its source before Send is available. Records become the nursery’s own knowledge, and every answer shows where it came from. The kitchen sees the allergies recorded for the children eating today, and the cook confirms an alternative. An incident is recorded on the room iPad, and the parent opens it and confirms they have read it. Holiday programmes, maintenance, staff leave and parent sign-ups follow, and a new member of staff has everything ready on their first day. It ends on the Kinderlee logo.

Questions directors ask.

Who is Kinderlee for?

Owners and directors of nurseries: a single setting, a group with several sites, or a municipal or church-run operator.

Does Kinderlee hold the parents’ money?

No. The nursery is the merchant of record with Stripe, our payment provider, and every payment goes to the nursery’s own account.

Where is our data stored?

With OVHcloud, in the European Economic Area. Children’s data does not leave the EU, and the assistant runs in an EU region.

Does the room tablet need wifi?

No. It records the whole day without a signal and sends each entry once, with its original time, when the connection returns.

Can separated parents both use it?

Yes. Each parent with custody has their own account and their own rights, and a court order limits what a restricted parent sees.

Does the assistant decide anything about a child?

No. It drafts, and a person confirms every field before anything is saved or sent. It never guesses a child’s mood or feelings.

Which devices does it run on?

The office works in any web browser. The room tablet is an iPad. Parents use the iPhone app, or the parent web app on any other phone, Android included.

Can we bring our records from our current system?

Yes. Your records are imported, so nobody retypes a child’s file, and the founder sets up each new nursery personally.

Do children use it?

No. There is no screen for children, by design.

What do the learning record, kitchen and incidents cover?

Learning records bring lesson plans, staff observations, portfolios and checked reports together. The kitchen has menus, recorded allergy flags and alternatives confirmed by the cook. Incidents go from the room iPad to the parent, with opening and acknowledgement recorded separately. Enrolment, staff leave, holiday programmes, supplies, sign-ups and the school-year calendar cover the rest of the day.

Where do I log in?

Choose Log in, then your region. The Europe link opens when Kinderlee launches in Europe. Your choice is not stored on this site.

What does it cost?

A subscription for each setting. We go through it on the walkthrough call.

Show us how your nursery runs.

A video call with the founder. Bring the parts of the week that take longest, and we’ll walk through them in Kinderlee.
